Why I joined my first Yoga challenge?
No matter if you are long time yoga practitioner, yoga lover or you are just starting your yoga journey, joining a yoga challenge can be fun. You will meet people with similar interests like yours, share your yoga practice and get inspiration. The awesomest thing is that sometimes you can win great yoga prizes.
Instagram Yoga challenges usually last for 5, 7 or 10 days. They are hosted by yogis and sponsored by of yoga apparel, accessories or wellness brands.
The rules of the Instagram Yoga challenges are always the same. Post the daily assignment photo/video, have your profile public, use the challenge hashtag for your post, follow all the hosts and sponsors and invite few of your friends to join you.

I joined my first yoga challenge when I just moved to a new country. I didn’t speak the language, I had limited budget for going to yoga classes and I didn’t have any of my Yoga friends around.

Most of the yoga challenges have certified Yoga teachers or longtime yoga practitioners with lots practice as hosts. Everyone was once a beginner so all the yoga challenges offer lots of variations, modifications, drills and lots of creativity.
Tip: If you are new into yoga and not sure if is safe for you to join a yoga challenge you can always message the hosts and ask them for advice. Safety comes first.
4. PRACTICE YOGA FOR FREE FROM YOUR HOME
All Yoga challenges focus on a certain theme offering you a group of carefully selected yoga asanas. These postures can be practiced separately or together as a sequence.
